This is to inform the General Public, Principals / Teachers / Parents / Guardians, that the online registration for the 2020 TCKZone Techxibition has began.

Online Registration for the 2020 TCKZone Techxibition will begin on 20nd of February, 2020. Early registrations are encouraged .

In the last One year, TCKZone has been involved in the training of kids between the ages of 5 -16 in Primary and Secondary Schools in Lagos, Nigeria technology skills for free. The Creative Kids Zone is a not-for-profit organization set up to train kids to code, design and do other awesome things in technology.

To make kids enthusiastic about learning technology.
To introduce kids to the world of information technology.
To educate kids with the skills they need for the jobs of the future.
To create young ambassadors for technology (STEM).

Mission

To expand creativity in as many kids as possible by training and empowering them with technological skillset, and thereby increasing the number of young minds in Tech and preparing for the Future.

Reach out to thousands of kids in African communities and make them ambassadors for technology.

In TCKZone, we are deliberate in our attempt to help the future generation attain success and triumph in the field of technology.

This is the first edition of TCKZone Techxibition

The Techxibition is in two stages:

1 Qualifying Written Application
20 FEB 2020 - 1 MAY 2020

2 Onsite Demo
23 MAY 2020

Stage 1 (Qualifying Written Application)

How to enter

The Texhibition is open to kids from 5 - 16 years of age who must have participated in at least one TCKZone training event. Entry into this techxibition is FREE. You can also apply as a team of a school but TCKZone must have held a training event in your school.

Click on link to register as an individual or as a school
Fill the form and submit. Ensure to fill all required fields.
An email will be sent to the contact email addresses provided when filling the form.
Use the link in the email received to verify the email addresses. The email address must be verified before you can proceed.
Once email is verified, you would receive an email with the next steps of your application
Follow the steps to Add Candidates information.
Fill in the candidate’s information on the form, upload the candidate's picture
After creating information for all candidates, a button will be shown on the page to "Continue application". Click the button to complete the registration.
A confirmation slip will be generated for you to download and will also be mailed to the School, candidate and parent/guardian email address.
Print this confirmation slip and have it stamped and signed by the school administrator/parent/guardian.
Selected finalist will be invited to come showcase their project in May 2019
The confirmation slip will be required for admitting candidates at the demo venue. As well as their student ID cards if they are representing a school.

DEADLINE
Online Registration Starts On Thursday 20nd of February, 2020 and will end on Friday 1st of May, 2020 at 6:00PM.

2nd Stage

Once you have been selected to participate in the Demo day. Come along prepared for your presentation/demo on Saturday, May 23rd 2020 at National Theatre Top 3 Winners will be selected by the judges and awarded prices on the Demo day along side other category winners.
